President: Linda Cooney
Vice President: Jennie Mullowney
Secretary: Suzanne Goure
Treasurer and Membership: Debbie Cook
Field and Obedience Director: Regina Gasselsdorfer
Ottawa Pointing Dog Club serves both the Ottawa River and the St Lawrence River Valleys.   Along the Ottawa River we go as far as Deep River and along the St Lawrence River we go up to Napanee
The OVPDC provides opportunities for its members to train their pointing dogs in a variety of field, obedience and conformation events. The Club conducts informal indoor and outdoor training sessions throughout the year where members and their guests are welcome.
The Club strives to protect and advance the interest of the pointing breeds by encouraging sportsmanlike conduct at dog shows, field tests, agility and obedience trials.
The OVPDC holds an annual CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) field test each June in the Ottawa Valley.
